Guest Artist: Loren C. Fortna
A classical guitarist, Loren began his training as a senior in high school. Since that time his expressive playing has been repeatedly requested by Dr. William Payne, choral director at Bucknell University with whom Loren has performed extensively throughout the United States and Canada. In 1997, Loren graduated with a degree in music theory from Susquehanna University where he became a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America. Following this, Loren completed his master of guitar performance in 2000 at the University of Akron with Stephen Aron. In addition, he has had extensive training in early guitar music with Dennis Cinelli at Montclair State University. He is currently the vocal and general music teacher of the Springfield, NJ elementary schools.
