Rehearsals for the Spring 2013 season start Monday, January 14th.
New singers are most welcome.

There is no formal audition process to join Concord Singers.  While some prior singing experience is assumed, an enthusiasm for learning wonderful music is the only essential prerequisite.  Additionally, members are expected to have sufficient musical ability to learn the notes, pitch and rhythm of the program selections.  Members are expected to practice the music at home and attend rehearsals regularly.  As an extra learning tool, the Director provides recordings for each voice part approximately mid-way through the season.  Ultimately, participation and performance are at the sole discretion of the Director

Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from September to May in the Choir Room at Calvary Church. General rehearsals start at 7:15PM and last until 9:45PM. Once all of our music is introduced, chorus members are provided with rehearsal tracks of each individual vocal part.

As we get closer to each concert, individual sectional rehearsals are scheduled on Mondays at 6:30 before the general rehearsal. In addition, there is usually an extra general rehearsal on the Friday before each concert.

Members are requested to make regular attendance at rehearsals a priority. Please let your section leader know if you will miss a rehearsal. 

Dues for the Concord Singers are $85.00 per season. This covers a portion of the costs for music, guest artists and our director and accompanist.
